Amron One-Diver Communicator with Internal Rechargeable Battery

The Amron 2810E-03 One Diver Communicator is a replacement communicator for Amron’s model 8111-01 and 8111-02 air controls. It can also be used as a standalone unit where a panel mount communicator may be preferred.

The 2810E-03 is a full featured, one-diver communicator that uses state-of-the-art electronics to provide industry leading features for maximum audio clarity. The amplifier delivers 20 watts of audio power to provide clear communications in noisy conditions, even at high volume levels. An audio filtering network on the amplifier PCA maximizes audio clarity. As with all Amron diver communicators, the 2810E-03 can operate in 2-wire or full duplex (4-wire) modes. There are separate and independent volume controls for both the tender and diver.

This 2810E-03 is powered by an internal rechargeable battery with a typical battery life of 85 hours. The model 2810E-03 has a built-in internal power supply with integrated intelligent battery charging circuitry and a 12 V rechargeable sealed lead acid battery. To charge the battery, simply plug in the AC power cord into an AC outlet ranging 90-264 VAC, 50-60 Hz. There is a battery condition indicator located on the front panel.

The communicator also includes auxiliary audio input jacks (2x RCA) that allow the diver to listen to entertainment or other audio from an external audio source while remaining in constant contact with the tender. This feature is only available when the diver is using full duplex (4-wire) mode.
